Over five years ago, he joined forces with Building America to “upgrade” the energy performance from Florida code minimum homes to healthier, more energy efficient homes. Since that time, Tommy Williams has committed to build ALL new homes to met and/or exceed the Builder’s Challenge criteria, with homes scoring 60 or less on the E-Scale. While all Tommy Williams homes provide superior energy efficiency, he is the first production homebuilder in the Southeast to build a Net Zero Energy Home which is in Longleaf Village, located in Gainesville, Florida. All of his homes are performance tested and certified by an independent third party to ensure maximum performance and energy efficiency.
