In 2006, manufactured home builder, Cavalier Homes, requested assistance in diagnosing and solving moisture related issues in their homes. During 2006 and 2007, BA-PIRC personnel helped this partner develop duct designs that placed all the ductwork within the thermal envelope as well as eliminating external cross-over ducts. Cavalier Homes featured a high side discharge supply register that uses the interior wall cavities as a conduit that connects to the floor trunks. Data reported for the Cavalier prototype was collected from June 1, 2008, through September 2, 2008.
